The refunds of the Boat Ramp Special Assessment are reportedly being received.

The El Lago Committee Board of Directors have sent a Notice of Annual Meeting called for December 3rd, 2024.
The BoD indicated that they intend to hold an election for one position, however, they are again violating Texas Statutes as they lack the authority to hold the elections as the Election Committee of El Lago Committee has the sole power to call for the elections.
This BoD cannot not call for the Annual Meeting until September, as stipulated in the By-Laws. The failure of the BoD to call the Annual Meeting this past September 2024 triggered the Texas Statutes Property Code Section 209.014 Mandatory Election Committee. This committee was duly formed and is the only legal authority to call a meeting for the sole purpose of electing the Board of Directors, which shall be all three positions. Terms will be re-established according to the Dedicatory Documents of the El Lago Committee. 

Necessary action is being undertaken to protect the integrity of the Election Committee.
